My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Hooey, originally came to us as a stray. We waited several weeks for an owner to claim him. sadly no one ever called for him. He was then adopted for several weeks and came back, it just was not a good fit with the resident dog after awhile.

Hooey is a young adult at just about a year old. He is very smart, VERY goofy and super treat motivated!! He walks well on a leash but will pull if he sees something he wants to check out! He loves toys and running in the yards. He has done well with the dogs he has met! He does keep his kennel tidy but as with any new dog coming into a new household routine he will need PATIENCE and consistency while he gets a hang of the potty schedule! We are suggesting a home with older children that are dog savvy as he can act like an overgrown puppy!!!

Hooey is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and is current on all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.
