What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Buffy is the sweetest thing in the whole world, it breaks my heart that I can't keep her when I move. I fostered her at 6 weeks old and fell in love. Unfortunately, she started having seizures around 4 months old and has been diagnosed with epilepsy. She's been stable on her current meds for about a year and a half but she does occasionally have seizures and will require ongoing vet care. She has minor brain damage, so she's a little goofy (she drools when she's excited!) She loves new people, places, and chill pets immediately, but can't get along with my other young cat. She doesn't understand cat play and gets anxious and upset when he pounces, so after trying everything in the book I've had to keep them in separate rooms. She overgrooms from anxiety so her tummy is balding. I've barely been able to manage them separated while living alone, and now that I have to move in with a roommate it just won't be feasible to care for her well. She deserves more time and love.
