My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Cinnamon is a Tortie Point Siamese born on 11/25/22.   She has made tremendous progress since her arrival.

At first, she was very uneasy with human contact, Now, she will come up to me in bed and demand I give her attention. She will rub her cheek against my hand or arm, letting me know if she wants to be scratched. She loves back scratches.  In the morning she will precede me toward the kitchen and will often flop in the middle of the hall so I have to walk around her. She is not a lap-cat at this time, but I would not be surprised if one day she becomes one.

Nail trimming has become easier. At first, Cinnamon was so squirmy, two people were needed to trim her claws. Cinnamon never tried to claw or bite to get away. Now one person can trim her nails.  she still squirms, but nothing like before.

Mealtimes have changed as well. When cinnamon first got here, she was practically invisible and did she did not want to be seen. Now, she comes right up to me as I am dishing out breakfast for her and the other cats. She has a good appetite for both canned and dry food .

Cinnamon gets along well with other cats. She acted as a protector for a kitten that has since been adopted. Once when she heard the kitten crying, she came charging out of the bedroom and let the older cat know she should leave the kitten alone.  After that kitten was adopted, cinnamon seem to be looking around the house for her little boy.

Cinnamon is located in a foster home in Novi and her adoption fee is $200.  All MISR cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested and are current on rabies and distemper shots. All known health issues have been addressed.
