My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Chanel (pronounced like the perfume). Please don't let my kennel behavior scare you. I'm really very sweet. For example, I was in the lobby recently greeting visitors, and a very nice lady told me that I looked like the happiest girl ever.

I am friendly to people and other dogs that I meet. I'm also good on a leash. I'm better in places that don't have a lot of squirrels, birds, geese, or other critters like that because I get excited and distracted, and REALLY want to chase them. With that being said, I do like trail hiking in the woods and a Starbucks Pup Cup on the way home is the best.

I'm very energetic and I'm always up for a walk or game of fetch. And I really do play fetch! I will bring a ball or toy right back to you and place it ever so gently in your hand.

I'm smart and know how to follow commands like sit, and I've even been working on learning to shake paws - I'm getting pretty good at it, if I do say so myself! Plus, I have a special talent for catching treats in my mouth - it's always a fun little game.

Car rides are a bit of a pickle for me. I want to go places and I hop right into the back seat and sit or lay well, but I do get a little anxious at times.

I recently visited my buddy's home and I was very well behaved. No potty accidents and I was respectful of her stuff. I was so happy, I did some zoomies! She said I can visit her any time, and she thinks I'd be a wonderful addition to any family.

Overall, I'm just a sweet and affectionate girl looking for a home where I can thrive. If you're ready to welcome a loving and energetic companion into your life, then look no further. I can't wait to become your loyal friend and faithful companion. Let's make some memories together - I promise you won't regret it!
