Stimie is a fiercely loyal Chihuahua who takes his job as Chief of Security very seriously. He’ll be your ride-or-die, your shadow, your personal alarm system, and your snuggle buddy — all rolled into one compact, adorable package. 💪❤️
He’s protective of his home and makes sure no one—invited or not—slips by without a thorough background check (aka a loud announcement that echoes through the house). Stimie isn’t exactly a fan of kids or cats… okay, fine, he hates them. But other dogs? He’s all about that pack life! 🐶
He is looking for a one-person home. With his person, Stimie is pure love — affectionate, loyal, and always ready for an adventure. He’s an excellent hiking buddy, walking partner, and listener (especially if you talk about how amazing he is). In public, he’s surprisingly social and might even tolerate kids from a safe distance.
Stimie is also an alert barker, so apartment living is off the table — he takes noise ordinances as a personal challenge. His dream home is with a savvy Chihuahua lover who wants a fiercely devoted sidekick and doesn’t host too many guests.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
