Meet Tessie, a gentle 15-year-old female she arrived at the shelter on December 2, 2023, through an unfortunate owner surrender, a circumstance beyond her control. Despite the upheaval, Tessie remains remarkably sweet, albeit a bit scared in her new environment. She entered the shelter with two companions, but unfortunately, their microchips did not match. Tessie's previous owner, did not care and surrender her..

At 48 lbs, Tessie is a well-behaved and polite companion. She responds to commands like sitting and is particularly good with children. Tessie is also housetrained and gets along well with other animals. Resting comfortably in RUN #90, she's already been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on her vaccines. The shelter staff will conduct a heartworm test before her adoption to ensure she embarks on her new journey in the best health possible. Tessie is patiently waiting for a loving home where her gentle spirit and loving nature can blossom once again.
