My name is Goldie!

Goldie, a cattledog mix, about 3 yrs old, has quite a tale to tell. She arrived with a history of hardship, already pregnant and understandably frightened. When her puppies came into the world, she transformed into a fiercely protective mom, allowing only a select few near her precious little ones. Over time, Goldie has learned that we humans aren’t so bad after all. She warms up gradually, appreciating the right introductions. Her preferences are discerning, and she doesn’t find much joy in toys. Instead, Goldie seeks a calm household where she can simply hang out and cuddle on the couch. Leash skills are a work in progress, but she’s making strides. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who appreciates quiet moments, Goldie might just be the perfect fit for you!

Adoption fees include: Spay or Neuter, All vaccinations are up to date, and a microchip. If you have current pets we do allow a two week trial period for $50. This allows us to make sure that the animal will fit in with the resident animals.
