Meet Jovi, a 10 month old Shih Tzu puppy boy. He weighs 14 lbs. and has the softest coat with lovely markings. He's a snuggler and loves to give kisses, and play with squeaky toys. He’s curious and enjoys learning. Jovi completed a 7 week Basic training class where he excelled in ‘wait, leave-it, stay & place’ among other commands. Jovi is potty trained to pad, potty patch and grass. He loves to look out windows and is very alert to his surroundings. He will curl up at night in a cozy dog bed or on the people bed if invited! Jovi enjoys rides in the pet stroller as well as trips in the car in his car seat. He can be shy in new environments or meeting new people but warms up when he is given time to get to know you. His leash walking is improving in the neighborhood and is working towards being comfortable in busier places. Jovi's new home should have another dog similar in size/ energy to play with. He also needs a fenced yard so he can run and zoom. Jovi may look grown up but he's still a puppy. He needs a family that will spoil him like the cuddle-bug he is, who can continue to work on new commands and to perfect his leash walking. Jovi is fostering in east central FL.
