Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Kipley
AKA (Affectionately known as): Betty. Betty Boop. Bette. Little Fox.
Sex: Female
Age: 6.5 years
Weight: 30 lbs.
Before OMD: Breeder release.
Energy Level: Relatively low, think chill house cat.
Affection level: Also low. Not too cuddly, but loves a good scritch behind the ears and to know her person is close by.
What we love most: How gentle and sweet she is. When she runs around and those little legs really get husslin. How she sleeps on her back. How she climbs up the stairs slowly, one by one, but can't come down.
What she loves most: Foster dad (sorry, foster mom...). Being close to said foster dad. Following said foster dad from room to room. Food (if you can't already tell from her waist line). Car rides. Her crate.
Working on: Confidence. She is very unsure with new people and situations at first and needs ample time and patience to feel comfortable. She has never been reactive or shown aggressive behavior but is timid and nervous. She is not an out-on-the-town type dog; she is more a chill at home (with foster DAD, of course) with some car rides for pup cups and errands sprinkled in.
Dogs: Sure! She currently lives with two and is mostly a co-exister. She is not a fan of overly energetic dogs who are in her face, but would be happy to live with a confident, relaxed dog.
Cats: Yep, lives with one and pays her no mind.
Kids: She is currently fostered with a very respectful kiddo and has done just fine. She would be okay living with quieter kiddos who respect her boundaries and do not overwhelm her.
House-trained: Yes, when on a schedule. She does have occasional accidents, but ultimately thrives with consistency.
Crate-trained: Yes, she loves her crate. She stays in her crate when home alone and at night - it is her safety spot.
Kipley is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is available for adoption to CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from omdrescue.org
