My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello I am Brodie and I was born approximately 3/12/2019, I also weigh around 12 lbs, I am a Maltese. I came from a shelter, and I am very protective of my toys, because I never had any before this so I don't love to share. I'm house trained, my foster mom takes me outside every 4 hrs. I have a kennel but would rather sleep on the bed with my foster mom all night. I don't care for dogs bigger than me because they are scary and I also don't really love cats - I growl and bark at them. I will sit and watch you when you are eating, hoping that I will get a snack. I like to curl up on the floor next to my foster mom. Will let you know when someone knocks at the door or walks by, by barking a bit. I'm leash trained. I get along with my foster brother.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please go to www.ndlbrescue.org and submit an application for adoption. Please check out our website for any questions you may have before emailing us.
Adoption Application and Contract are required. If adopted dog is under 4 months old, a spay/neuter contract is required along with a spay/neuter deposit. Before the dog will be placed in the potential adopter's home, a home visit will be required. Adoption fees range from $125.00-$650.00 but are listed with every dog.

We are a 99% volunteer and foster run 501c3 non-profit rescue, operating in the state of Minnesota. We do not have a facility. All of our dogs are in private loving homes until they are adopted.
