Marsha is an absolute sweetheart. Sadly she has been waiting since last Fall to find her forever family. Marsha is crate-trained and was an indoor pet -- she is heartworm negative and UTD with vaccines and has been spayed. Marsha gets along with other dogs and she gets super excited when you first let her out of her kennel. She walks well on leash; no known resource guarding or food guarding issues.

Adoption Fee includes all age-appropriate shots, deworming, spay/neuter certificate (if too young to be fixed) and microchip, dog food, leash and collar.

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters must fill out an adoption application to be considered. All information about an adoptable pet can be found in their profile description, which is updated regularly. We can only respond to applicants that are considered a good match for a particular pet. Response time is approximately 1-5 days. Once you are contacted, we will move forward with the adoption process; this may include a phone interview, home visit and vet/personal references check.

Our rescued animals are placed in foster homes in the New York and Northern New Jersey areas. Our animals are also boarded in veterinary hospitals in the South until we can transport them to our NJ locations. We also have rescue partners in Canada.

Paws on the Green, Inc. rescues animals on death row in local and rural shelters in the South. We are a New Jersey non-profit animal welfare organization that promotes the adoption of homeless animals regardless of age, breed or health condition. We strive to take the ones that other rescues and adopters leave behind either because the pet is a senior, has a health condition or has a disability.
