My name is Bubba!

Meet Bubba!  At just over a year old, this 50 pound stunner is smart, mischievous, playful, strong willed, and loving.  A toddler in canine form!  

Bubba was originally a pup that had come to us with no manners or direction - a true diamond in the rough...  Over the past few months, however, he has proven himself to be a quick learner.  He is now housebroken, crate trained, an allstar on the leash and learning new things every day.  

Bubba's a dog that greets people well, but is still learning to keep all four paws on the ground.  He can also be a rough houser when he plays so a home with older kids that can handle his puppy shenanigans is a must.  

Outside the home Bubba LOVES to explore and would make a great hiking or camping partner. He is working with a trainer on remote e-collar commands (Sit, Stay, Come, and Long Distance Recall) and would benefit from an owner that would want to continue his training and development.  

Although dog friendly...  Bubba can get scared, overwhelmed, and defensive in large groups, but one on one he does great and (with slow introductions) can play with multiple dogs.  Ideally, a home with another laid back furry housemate and a fenced in yard for them to chase each other in would be ideal - no apartment living for this pup.
