My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Houdini is a very special cat who has remained sweet and loving with her caregivers, despite the medical challenges she has faced. She is looking for a thoughtful home where she will be well taken care of and given the opportunity to live out the rest of her life with lots of love and attention.
If you think you could be the person Houdini has been waiting for, please complete our adoption application and our adoption coordinator will reach out to schedule a phone call to provide a full run down on Houdini’s required medical care.

More about this rescue

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.

In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
