My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wisdom and Wiley are a beautiful pair of bonded cats that were rescued from a hoarding environment. Because of their rough start in life, they can be shy and reserved around people but take comfort in each other. Our wonderful care team at Pasado’s is working diligently on socialization and helping them feel more comfortable with human interactions so their true personalities can shine.

Wisdom (orange and white face) is the more confident cat, who will allow petting if it is on his terms and you take it slow. Wiley (orange face) is still unsure about pets, but he does let his playful nature show when a laser toy comes out.

They are looking for a special and thoughtful home that will give them lots of patience and time to come out of their shells.

More about this rescue

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.

In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
