My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Imani (e-mon-e) was found by the river this summer. She takes time to trust and prefers to be outside, but given time she will cuddle with you and show affection. She gets along with boy dogs more than girls and she would prefer just one other dog, she gets jealous if she gets left out of play.
She needs things to do, like any German Shepherd she is a working dog. We have her practice bringing us things and she spends a lot of time running around outside.
While she is older she still acts young and is playful.

Additional adoption info

We have an addition application on our website. It is at the bottom of the available dogs page.
We can usually have applications reviewed in a day.
We really just want these drugs to go to Good homes. They have been through a lot and deserve that.

Go meet their pets

We are available almost all day (closed 1-3:30 on weekdays)

We can meet at local parks or have you come to the rescue. We have a couch and two outdoor areas for getting to know your new pet .

More about this rescue

Yakima has a huge problem with drugs being dumped, so we converted our shed and made space to take in the helpless dogs.
We mainly have pitbulls, German shepherds, and huskies as those are the undesirable breeds of here.
We get the vaccinated and neutered/spayed before adopting them out.
We also have to wait 30 days to see if an owner comes forward.
The adoption fee helps covers the medical care and the food while they are with us.
