My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is an out-going, mellow, affectionate young cat born October 2022. He jumps into your lap, staying for short sessions of brushing and petting. At times he would rather sit next to you. He purrs on contact, kneads you, and gives kitty kisses. George tolerates being picked up and likes respectful kids. He watches for you at the window, door greets, ankle rubs, follows you around, and plays with the water dish.
He enjoys watching wildlife at the window, plays by himself with toys and interactively with you. He is very friendly with known folks and friendly with strangers, gets along with most cats, and hasn’t met dogs. George would enjoy another cat for a pal. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).
