My story

Welcome Schooner!

Schooner was born on 9/28 and he has the most beautiful greenish eyes and a chocolate and white coat.

His foster mom says Schooner is just a wonderful little puppy! He loves to play with toys (chew toys and balls) and running around the yard. This happy puppy is very friendly and very affectionate. He loves following everyone around room to room. And what a cuddle bug he is! He will fall asleep right on you! Schooner walks nicely on a leash, good with other dogs and sleeps through the night without having accidents. His foster mom describes Schooner as very sweet, curious, a people pleaser and full of fun! “He is a real sweatheart! I love having him in my home!

FHDR saved him from an overpopulated shelter in NC and he is now living in a foster home in NJ.

The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are.

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ.
