Hi, my name is Archie, I know my pics look a lot ridiculous, I don’t have the best hairdo you have ever seen. When I was rescued, they had to shave over 3 lbs of mats off my little body and what a relief that was. Life looked pretty grim for me, but I have another chance at dogging, and I feel great. Putting the past behind me and looking for the perfect home to call my very own. I am 100% precious, a real snuggle buddy I am. I’m one of them kind that is happy to lay on your lap and watch whatever you want to watch on the tv set. I have great house manners; I am house broke & hear that’s a big plus. I don’t eat much but do enjoy my canned food & teats. I love to walk on leash and smell all the things. I wiggle my way under the bed covers and spend the whole night without getting anyone stirred up. I like my sweaters, cause it’s a bit nippy outside this time of year. Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
