My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweetie Pie, a little ball of sweetness rescued from a colony on Stanly Lane. Nature truly blessed Sweetie Pie with a heart as sweet as her name suggests. This adorable kitten has an innate love for head scratches and treats, and her affectionate nature shines through when she's indulged in either. While Sweetie Pie may take a bit of time to warm up, her patience is rewarded with a feline friend who is incredibly playful and full of joy. What sets Sweetie Pie apart is her endearing way of asking for more treats or pets, a cute habit that will surely melt your heart. Sweetie-Pie would do better in a home with other friendly cats.

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
