This sweet pup came into our care with her two siblings as a result of an accidental breeding. Grace was born completely deaf and blind, but this doesn't slow her down!
Her amazing nose leads her on adventures out on the trail, in the mountains, and into any body of water, making her a true explorer at heart.
Learning through scent and touch, Grace has adapted beautifully to her surroundings. Her ultra-sweet nature shines through, making her a joy to be around. Grace is not only super playful but also remarkably resilient, she can stand up to any dog while playing and absolutely loves a good game of tug of war.
Grace's housebroken manners are impeccable, provided she knows the location of her designated potty spot and has access to the outdoors. Remarkably, she never loses her temper, showcasing her gentle and patient disposition. Grace does great with both dogs and cats, but any introductions would have to be done slowly and over time.
Grace's future adopters would preferably be an experienced owner or family with older children that have previously owned a special needs animal (preferably blind or deaf). It is vital that her positive training is continued not only for her socialization but for her safety as well.
There's more to Grace than just her resilience; she's a true kissy face lovebug. Her affectionate nature knows no bounds, and her presence is a heartwarming reminder that love and joy can thrive in any circumstance.
Pre-registration for general obedience classes is a requirement for adoption.
Grace is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
