We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Kravitz wants nothing more than to find his forever home for the holidays and lavish his new favourite people with affection and attention. He is looking for a special place where he can express himself openly to those he loves. He makes cute noises when he yawns and when he is happy. He especially loves to do a little happy dance, wagging his tail and stomping his feet when he sees his people.

This sweet boy loves a cuddle fest as much as he loves playing hide and seek with his foster mom. Kravitz also enjoys daydreaming while staring out the window and soaking up the sun. He would love to spend the holiday season and beyond receiving pets from his new special people. Kravitz has no problem being handled, like trying on coats with his foster mom at the store or cuddling on the couch together. And adores being in the same room as her. He is house-trained and crate-trained and travels well in the car. He enjoys playing and walking and is good on the leash. However, he will need some training as he is interested in squirrels and other small animals.

It is best for Kravitz to find a home with children 12+, as he is sometimes skittish around kids nearby and he can be mouthy but with proper redirection and some training that can be cleared up as he is extremely smart. He is friendly with dogs and enjoys playing with the resident pups but we would not recommend cats for him at this time. He may bark when he first meets people but quickly warms up to them.

With so much love, energy, and playfulness in his heart, Kravitz’s ideal home would be one with a fenced in back yard where he could bask in the sun and run around to expend his energy. A person who can take him for long walks and has the time to play with him. Having another dog in the house to play with and chase around would also be great. The perfect fit would be someone who appreciates a good cuddle. If this sounds like you and you’d like to bring Kravitz home in time to enjoy the holidays with him, please complete the adoption paperwork at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ , and we will happily get back to you.

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
