Meet Ralphie,
He’s certainly one of the most handsome tuxedos we have met! This mellow man likes to follow you around the house as his biggest heart’s desire is to be wherever you are! This gentleman is confident and curious, and you would never guess his age by looking at him or by the way that he acts. He has a bit of a stiff walk at times due to some achy joints, but his monthly medication keeps this gentleman feeling spry and lively! He will need an adopter who is willing to continue with his monthly medication (Solensia) and be able to administer subcutaneous fluids two to three times per week to help him keep his kidney's hydrated. For a guy his age, he's overall very healthy!
Ralphie would enjoy joining an adult home and would also do well with older children who realize that Ralphie is a cuddle bug and while he does have many playful moments, he thrives on human interaction and would appreciate a home where his humans are around most of the day as he takes immense pleasure in your companionship. He’s not a fan of other cats, and he would prefer to be your one and only furry friend.
He enthusiastically curls up next to you for lots of pets, love, and affection! Ralphie is always ready for mealtimes as he does appreciate the finer things in life. Wet food is his weakness as he can’t resist that delectable aroma, and being the sprightly young man that he is, he will occasionally jump on the counter in search of hidden treats.
Although he’s not a lap cat, he does take great comfort in curling up next to you, receiving plenty of pets, neck rubs, and chin scratches. He’s quiet, and respectful and is always on the lookout for warm comfortable spots for a quiet snooze. He is the great appreciator, not demanding much but always grateful for your attention and love!
Ralphie will thrive best with an adopter that will let him curl up and sleep in bed with them as he becomes attached to his human friends and takes great comfort in their presence. If the bedroom door happens to be shut, he will do his best to break in, as he needs that human connection and extra warmth and love. In return, he is delighted to curl up next to you or on your pillow to chase away any bad dreams with his magnificent purr.
