Hello. My name is Cleo and I need to find a home where I will be loved forever. I was rescued from a shelter in Virginia and recently traveled via airplane to NJ and Penny Angels. I’m not really sure if I liked the flying ‘thing’, but I didn’t have any other choice at the time. Now that my paws are firmly planted on the ground, I can start my forever-home search.
I am approx. 3 years old and weigh 15 lbs. I am shy when I first meet people but I slowly warm up to them. I like to eat, so that might be one way to get me to trust you. I get along well with other dogs and like to play with them. I would do best with another doggie friend in my new home. I would also prefer to have a fenced-in yard because I love to spend time outside. I am easily startled by sudden movements or strange, new things. Hopefully that will change as I get used to learning about my new surroundings. I am a good snuggle partner (lap dog) and like to sleep in bed with you, (if you will allow it). I am using a doggie door in Rescue but will need to learn new rules in your home.
