Meet Misty, she has a gentle spirit, always ready to share a quiet moment with you. At about 2 years old she was left at a rural county shelter and she was scared to death. Days after we brought her into foster care she had kittens. She was a excellent mom! She is brave, curious and works very hard to overcome her shy nature in unfamiliar situations. Given time and a caring owner, she will open up, revealing a heart full of love. While she does not like to be held, she will be content to explore her surroundings at her own pace.

Misty is a beautiful girl with great house manners. With Misty, patience is a virtue. Once you’ve earned her trust, she will blossom. She will be happiest if she has a quiet room to start off with, spending quality time with you while she settles in. She is an independent cat but she does like a pet on the head. She will thrive in an calm household. She will also do well with other kitties

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, she is negative for both feline leukemia and FIV. She is microchipped.

Location:

North Raleigh, NC and we adopt kitties within a 1-hour radius of Raleigh.

How much is the adoption fee?

$125 adult cat or kitten

$65 Special needs or shy cat

What does the adoption fee include?

Spay/neuter surgery

Up-to-date vaccines including Rabies & FVRCP

Tested for FIV & FeLV

Microchipped

Dewormed and treated to prevent fleas

Socialized/fostered in a family environment

Litter box trained

Medical care for illnesses and injuries while in our care.

When you adopt from us, you can rest assured that your cat or kitten has been seen by a vet and received necessary medical care. Why charge a fee? Preparing a cat or kitten for adoption is expensive. If you were to get a "free" cat or kitten, you would easily spend a minimum of $350 for the medical services we provide. We are committed to providing a healthy pet for adoption, but health cannot be guaranteed.

ADOPTION APPLICATION

The adoption process begins after you submit an adoption application. It usually takes 48 hours for our volunteers to reach out to you after the application has been submitted.
