Hi! I'm Goldie, born 8/3/23, a mix of Corgie and Jack Russel Terrier. I'm a little bit naughty, a little bit nice, and a whole lot of brains and love wrapped in a tiny package. If you want a smart, funny, energetic and athletic companion, then maybe I'm the girl for you?
Since I arrived in rescue, I've learned so much! I discovered that soft beds are totally awesome and fluffy toys (especially the squeeky ones) are the best fun ever! My foster canine brothers are fun too as long as they are willing to engage in a fun game of tug or "chase me" in the yard! Sorry, but I've been too busy to concentrate much on potty training but such a smart girl as myself will be a quick learner.
Goldie will thrive in an active home who can keep her physically and mentally occupied. She will be a star student in an obedience or agility class and would love to have canine siblings to model appropriate canine behavior. A fenced yard will be a firm requirement.
The suggested adoption donation for Goldie is a minimum of $600 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.
Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
