My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello friends! My name is Cupid and I'm a 6 year old handsome Husky boy and I arrived at the Humane Society in July 2023. I came in with another Husky, my friend Valentina. I'm a very active boy so I would enjoy someone who can take me on several walks everyday and play with me. My breed is very vocal so I will be very talkative with you! If you are interested in adopting me, please contact the shelter and ask to make an appointment. Thank you so much!

More about this shelter

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.

Please consider giving one of our animals a forever home. If you’re looking to adopt a life-long furry companion, we invite you to visit our Shelter!
