My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a gentle, sweet and quiet female Beagle. Besides that, she is very pretty. She weighs about 16 pounds and is about 2 years old. Lucy belonged to a family that gave her up because they were evicted from their former home and had too many dogs for the new place they moved into. The family gave up three adults, including Lucy plus two of Lucy's pups.

Lucy is very sweet and is learning to trust the new humans in her life. She sleeps in bed beside her foster mom at night, and looks to her for reassurance and affection. We suspect that she had little contact with people in the past, so she is understandably overwhelmed to be living indoors with a new family. We suspect that Lucy lived mostly outdoors during the daytime and was kept in a crate at night. She often goes into her crate during the day, just to get out of the traffic pattern in her foster home.

Lucy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $350.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPoochRescue@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization located in Hayesville, North Carolina, with frequent trips to the Atlanta area for adoptions. The adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we will contact you to schedule a time for you to meet us.
