My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hi everyone, Sam here! My mom is moving into an assisted living facility, so I'm looking for a new forever home. Over the past few weeks, many people have wished me well, sharing photos and posts about me. That is not surprising because, if I do say so myself, I'm a mellow fellow, quiet, calm, friendly (and good-looking!)! Nothing fazes me...I'm a "laissez-faire" kind of guy...live and let live. I eagerly greet everyone who walks through the door... and if they sit, I know I've found a lap!

"I am neither finicky nor demanding; provide me with my two square meals a day (although I would prefer three!), give me some pets and neck scratches, and my magnificent purr engine kicks in! Brush me, which I adore, and you'll hear it rev!

"I am FIV Positive, but as cat-savvy folks know, it's nothing to be afraid of. My vet has explained that FIV is not transmitted to humans, only to other felines by a deep puncture wound. I do need to stay indoors, which is just fine with me! I prefer a quiet household that I'm happy to share with another calm kitty. One of the photos shows me with my sibling, Rosey.

"I'm a burly boy, tipping the scales at 11 lbs! I'm 7 years old, neutered, up to date on shots, litter box trained...and eager to meet you!"
