My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Cheeky, your one-year-old feline friend with a whole lot of charm! I found my way to the kitty room from a place where kitties were everywhere, and now I'm on a mission to find my forever home. I'm a social butterfly and get along amazingly well with other kitties, making me the purrfect companion and playmate for a fellow feline friend.

I've got a laid-back and calm vibe, making me an ideal addition to any nice kitty household. Although I might be a tad shy initially and not a fan of being picked up, a little bribery with treats, yummy food, and some affectionate head and butt scratches will have me purring in no time! If you've got a cat wheel, count me in for some entertaining walks—I'm all about it!

With my adorable markings and unique ways of communicating, I'm not just a pretty face; I've got the cutest ways of telling you what I want. Despite being young at heart, I'm ready to be your purrmanent family companion. Don't think twice—consider me, Cheeky, for a bundle of joy and love in your home!

Cheeky is just over 1 years old, neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated.

More about this rescue

Motor City Trappers is a 501(c)(3) community organized initiative advocating for the community cats of the metro Detroit area. We devise strategies using trap-neuter-return (TNR) methods while educating caretakers in efforts to stabilize colonies & increase the quality of life for our community cats & fellow residents.

We assist with rescue missions, providing medical care to the injured, locating foster/rescue placement and rehoming cats & kittens that need off the street.
