My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Winky, the one-of-a-kind kitten with a tale as quirky as my name! Picture this: I was rescued as a teeny tiny fluffball, hanging out in the hollow of a tree, mysteriously left behind by my momma. Enter the heroes at Motor City Trappers who swooped in, bottle-fed me, and kept me spick and span—just like a proper momma cat would. Sure, being hand-reared was a bit awkward at first, but now I'm a full-fledged lover of all things human.

Fast forward to today, and I'm not just happy; I'm the picture of feline greatness! Here's the lowdown: I reckon I'd be living my best kitty life in a home with another feline friend, preferably one with some nurturing vibes because, truth be told, I'm a bit of a momma's boy. I bring the spunk, the outgoing vibes, and a dash of adventure to the mix, getting along famously with every kitty I meet. Throw in a couple of kitty siblings, and I'd be in feline heaven! I'm the epitome of sweet and loving, a purr-fect addition to any kitty household. Ready to add a sprinkle of Winky magic to your life?

Winky is a 7 month old kitten, is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated.

More about this rescue

Motor City Trappers is a 501(c)(3) community organized initiative advocating for the community cats of the metro Detroit area. We devise strategies using trap-neuter-return (TNR) methods while educating caretakers in efforts to stabilize colonies & increase the quality of life for our community cats & fellow residents.

We assist with rescue missions, providing medical care to the injured, locating foster/rescue placement and rehoming cats & kittens that need off the street.
