My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Popper!

Hello new friends, my name is Popper! I'm a senior lady who recently got saved from a hoarding situation. At just 14 pounds, I'm a little gal who doesn't need much from my new humans. I'm completely house trained and do my pottying outside. I get along well with the dogs here in my foster home, but I'm not a friend to cats. Mostly, I love my humans, and though I haven't met any kids, if they are a bit older and respectful, I'd love for them to pet my tummy!

Foster mom says my fur is so soft! I guess that's a good thing because you won't be able to keep your hands off me then! I really like being near my humans, and I'll let you know if I want to be closer to you. I don't mind if I'm just on the couch nearby, as long as I can be close. I'll be really happy if you let me sleep in the human bed at night so you can give me belly rubs as we drift off to sleep together. I'd love to start the new year with my forever humans! New year, new life! Are you ready to bring me home with you?

*Popper is being fostered in the Port Washington area.
