My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm lucky someone was home when I wandered onto their farm because I really needed help. Jewel is what they named me and I'm a sweet, 4 year old Tortie female. I had a large wound on my back and needed medical attention right away. Animal Ark made space for me so I could get the care I deserve. They also thought I might be pregnant! Sure enough, after my arrival I gave birth to three kittens. I was a very good Mom to Topaz, Opal and Ebony but they don't need me anymore. There's no background info on me as to how I would behave with other animals or children. I'm not real big on being picked up but I'm just glad to be feeling better and ready to find a new place to call home!

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
