PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
DWAYNE PRIDE, his mom and his 4 siblings( GUNNER - SONJA PERCY - HANNAH KHOURY - TAMMY GREGORIO) were saved by a very nice lady that found them in her back yard in San Jacinto, California. She reached out to us. Let us know she would foster the kittens and would fix and keep mom. So we joyfully helped her. So now he is with our rescue and ready for adoption.
DWAYNE PRIDE (named after the show NCIS: NEW ORLEANS) IS A SWEET, FUNLOVING KITTEN! He plays hard and ALOT! He gets comfortable very quickly and is curious about everything. DWAYNE PRIDE loves pets and comes for rubs from you or walks in between your legs. He can be a super silly and goofy boy. He comes running when it's time to get his can food. He is a total lap cat. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home.
DWAYNE PRIDE is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 3.5 months old. He is good with cats and dogs. He has never been around children. As stated on our application, we will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months without a cat / kitten with enough energy to play with him.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

DECEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.
The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
