My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TIA ~~ Spayed Female, Golden Retriever/Russian Hound, Chestnut and White, 90 lbs, DOB: September 2020

SPECIAL NOTE: Tia and Bree, another female stray at our clinic, are best friends and love to be with one another. They don’t have to be adopted together but it would be awesome if someone was able to take both.

Are you a fan of large dogs? This girl will melt your heart and provide all the companionship anyone could ever want. She loves to be where you are and is happy to accompany you on outings or just stay at home with you. Wherever you are is Tia’s favorite place in the whole world.

LIKES: She would enjoy living with another friendly dog and even some kids ~~ and would enjoy a fenced yard of her own to play in. She loves her stuffed animals and carries them around and sleeps with them. Tia is also a snuggler and loves to cuddle with her people.

DISLIKES: No small animals, cats, farm animals. Tia will not do well in a home with small animals.

NEEDS: Tia will do best with someone who is strong enough to handle a large dog. Tia needs a secure fenced backyard to run around and play in. She can be an escape artist and would do best with a safe place to play. Some leash training may be in order as she tends to pull when she gets excited.

HEALTH/MEDICAL: Tia has been spayed, microchipped, is house broken, knows how to sit, is healthy, and current on vet services.

ADOPTION FEE: $65. Her adoption fee includes a one month supply of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites). We are offering ½ off all adoption fees for pets over 1 year of age to welcome Spring!

To meet Tia, visit her at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. Please visit at least 2 hours prior to closing.
