Hi Everyone.
My name is Procyon (pronounced Pro-see-yun). I respond to my name, and I'm a very handsome 7 month old orange colored tabby-patterned male. I have a very handsome face with beautiful yellow green eyes, a lovely tail and beautiful orange markings. Astronomers found us near their observatory so I'm named after a yellow-colored star near the constellation Gemini. My foster dad calls me the Orange-Star cat, because I'm orange and I think of myself as a star! My markings do not match those of my siblings, but I am very friendly and have a lovely soft coat, like my brother Pollux and sister Capella, so I love being combed and pet. My personality makes me a little more independent, and I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but once I get to know you I will be very social, sweet, gentle and loving. I will greet you with a lovely quaint meow, then begin a chorus of wonderful purring that you will simply adore! I love to play, and when I'm ready to relax, I'll be happy to sit in your lap and spend time bonding with you. Did I mention that I love to be brushed and combed? I love my brothers and sister and we get along quite well, so I think I would get along well with other cats too, so long as we are properly introduced. My siblings and I are out of this world, and each of us will create a universe of joy with the help of some loving pet parents!
