My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: 7/8/2022

Dahlia was dumped at a horse boarding stable and she was pregnant. One of our volunteers found out about it from someone who works at the stable and asked if we could help. How could we say no to her! It infuriates us that people abandon their pets to fend for theirself, but to not have gotten her spayed and then to dump her when she was pregnant is just the cruelest thing to do.

She is a sweet girl who is shy until she gets to know you. She seems a bit overwhelmed by all the other cats so she might be best as the only pet in the home or maybe just with one other mellow cat.

She's beautiful and deserves a wonderful home and a wonderful life, especially after what she''s been through. We're hoping someone will give her a chance and find out what a special girl she is.

More about this rescue

The Cat Posse is a group of individuals devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted and abused cats in Southern California. We educate our communities about the importance of spaying and neutering, and we believe that all animals deserve dignity and kindness as we work toward the day when all public shelters will be "no kill".
