My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Heath and i am searching for my forever home. My mom Ivy who is also available for adoption was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter for safekeeping. She gave birth to 8 babies the day after arriving. Thankfully rescue placement was found because although this is a great shelter for rabbits its still not the right environment for a nursing mom.

My mom Ivy was a great mom, but we are now old enough (6 months) that we were separated from mom a while ago until we were old enough to be spayed/neutered. I am a friendly and curious bun who loves to run and play and since I am young I definitely need a good amount of space since I have so much energy.

I am eating a proper diet of adult timothy pellets, timothy hay and drink out of a big bowl of water. I also love my daily salad of romaine, parsley and cilantro plus my weekly treats of things like banana, apple and carrot.

I would probably be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend.

Would you open your heart and home to a sweet guy like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
