My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Itty bitty Fanny is now available for adoption. She is being fostered in the GTA area.

PLEASE READ FANNY’S BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT SHE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: FANNY IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE GTA

We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Our little Fanny is practically perfect in every way. She is so loved by her foster family and she lavishes them with lots of kisses. We like to call her our "pocket pal" as you can take her anywhere with you and that's what she would prefer. She is an affectionate dog and loves to be around her people. She has the loveliest personality and It's simply impossible not to fall in love with her and that face.

Fanny was found running down the highway in Mexico and we are amazed she wasn't killed. She was brought to the shelter and vetted immediately. We are so happy she's here with us.
Fanny is fully house trained and crate trained. Her ideal home would be one with a fenced in back yard where she could play and bask in the sun. Since she can be a bit vocal at first when crated with no one home. Apartments and condos may not be ideal.

She has no fear of strangers and will happily come forward for pets and attention. She doesn't require long walks but does love them so needs an adopter/s with low to moderate energy level to keep her active and happy.

She has a few tricks up her sleeve like dancing and walking on her hind legs which her foster laughs at constantly. She also prances when she walks like the little lady she is.
She loves to be with her people so someone working at home part or most of the day is ideal. She is a smart girl and is food driven which will help her with any training that is required of her.
Since her fosters do live in the heart of a downtown environment she does get distracted easily and backs away at loud noises. She is being desensitized so it would take time and patience for her to successfully overcome these distractions.

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
