Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ozzy Pawsborne!
This handsome pup is estimated to be between 1 and 3 years old. He arrived at HSoP as a stray and unfortunately wasn't claimed by an owner, so now he's looking for a new home. Since he arrived as a stray, we unfortunately don't know how Ozzy behaves around cats, small animals, or other dogs. He will be required to meet any dogs in the home prior to leaving HSoP, and all adoptions come with a 7-day foster period to ensure a good fit for everyone.
Ozzy has some "stranger danger" around new people, but is totally fine once he knows you. He just has to sniff you out to make sure you're a a friend before he feels completely safe. Once you're in Ozzy's circle of trust, you have a friend for life! Ozzy really isn't a fan of the loud and stressful environment of the dog kennels. He much prefers to be outside where he can run around and chase toys without rude interruptions from his neighbors. He already knows how to sit when asked, and is extremely treat-motivated. We are guessing that he's some sort of Aussie-pitbull mix, but it would probably be really interesting to have his DNA tested! Despite what kind of mix he is, Ozzy has lots of energy and would benefit from daily walks or a large fenced yard where he can run to his heart's content.
If you're interested in getting to know Ozzy Pawsborne, come meet him at the shelter! Our dog kennels are open 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday and HSoP is located at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843.
