My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hash Brown!

Oh! Well, hello there! My name is Hash Brown, and I'm a senior guy who is 18 pounds of pure love and perfection. I'm sorry if I seemed startled a bit, but since I'm blind you can't sneak up on me like that. If you just give me a little warning by saying my name, that's a whole lot of help to me. I'm a really good boy and have never shown an ounce of anger toward people, and I would even do well with older kiddos who understand what my being blind entails. I get along splendidly with other dogs, especially if they don't react to me potentially bumping into them. I get around great and navigate my foster home well! I haven't met any cats yet, but foster mom says that since I'm quite the laid-back guy, she doesn't think there would be any issues. I'm a good boy about going potty outside because I want to be my very best self for my humans!

I'm a really smart boy, and the first day I was here, I taught myself to do the few steps on the deck to get to the yard! I love to be close to my humans, and I'm an absolute snuggle bug, wanting to sleep in bed real close to you every night. I'd love it if I could find a home where my humans want to be with me as much as possible. Though I understand if you might need to leave, I'll voice my opinion on the matter to begin with, so apartment living may not be the best for me. I'm not destructive in anyway though, so you can let me free-roam while you are gone if you wish. Mostly, I just need a home who will be understanding of my lack of sight and love me regardless! I'm just little, so I promise not to take up much room. Do you have a little space and love for me?
