Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi all! I’m Brody! I’m 4 years old and have been told I’m a total meat head who isn’t always aware just how big he is. I hear everyone calling me a handsome beefcake, which I can only imagine is a good thing. ☺️So far, everyone thinks I’m a mastiff/pit bull mix, hence the beefcake comments, but we’re not 100% sure as we haven’t done a DNA test. Regardless of my breed, I know I’m 100% handsome, because my foster mama tells me every day! 😍 I’ve got a big ole head, and a giant heart to match. 🫶
Not only am I easy on the eyes, but I’m also fully trained! I’ve got my basic obedience down, walk great on a leash and am crate trained. I love ALL dogs, even the littles, and my motto is #BALLISLIFE! I could play ball EVERY DAY and would love a home with a family who will play with me! But not to worry! I’m also perfectly content with some R&R at home and can be a lazy potato.
My ideal home would be with a family who is patient and kind. I’ve had a lot happen to me in my 4 years on this earth, so I can be nervous meeting new people. However, I can also warm up really fast, and once you’re in, you’re in forever and we’ll be the bestest friends forever! 👯🤗
I’d also do best in a home with strong leaders, because let’s face it… I don’t like having to make choices. I mean, can ya blame me? Making decisions is a tiring thing, and why spend time doing that when I could be having fun!
I’m fully vetted, neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped and looking for my forever family.

More about this rescue
OCPBR is a passionate group of people whose goal it is to protect and take care of Pit Bulls through education, advocacy, rescue and community outreach. OCPBR seeks to improve the perception of Pit Bull type dogs, promote good ownership through encouraging the treatment of dogs as family members, help keep dogs out of the shelter and in homes, and create more fulfilling relationships between Pit Bulls and their families.
In our rescue work, OCPBR rescues Pit Bull type dogs from shelters, abuse, abandonment and other unfortunate situations. Each dog is then placed in a loving foster home where he or she will receive training and be treated as a family member. We are 100% committed to each of our dogs for the long term. Our rescue work doesn't stop when the dog is adopted. We are available as a lifetime resource for adopters and have stepped in to help with medical care, training needs or other things throughout the life of the dog adopted from us.
Through our community outreach program, Home Is Where The Pit Is, we work with community members to keep their beloved canine family members happy, healthy, and in their loving homes by helping with vet bills, supplies, and other needs. We also help out the community through our P.I.T. 101 low-cost training classes for Pit Bull type dogs in the Orange County, CA area.
