Hello friends. I am a 5 year old German Shepherd girl and I arrived at the Humane Society in July. I am enjoying my time here with my furry neighbors and human helpers but I am ready to find my forever home with the perfect person/family. I can be a bit shy when you first meet me so I may need a few meet and greets to get comfortable with you. Overall, I'm a good girl and hope to find my home soon. The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.
