Owen is a training enthusiast's dream - his intelligence is evident in his quick learning and eagerness to please. His high energy levels mean he's always up for an adventure, whether it's hiking trails, going for runs, or engaging in mentally stimulating activities. Owen is a go-getter and thrives when he has a job to do, making him an ideal candidate for agility training, obedience competitions, or other challenging activities that harness his natural abilities.
While Owen's exuberance is infectious, his energy is not for every household. He would do best in a home with an experienced owner who can provide consistent training, structure, and boundaries. Patience, positive reinforcement, and a firm yet gentle hand will help Owen reach his full potential.
In addition to his love for activities, Owen is incredibly affectionate, loyal and forms strong bonds with his humans. He's a social butterfly with people and has enjoyed the company of other dogs after proper introductions. However, due to his exuberance, a home without small children would be most suitable for Owen.
A fenced yard where he can safely burn off his energy and engage in play would be a great bonus for this active pup.
