Marshmallow is still figuring out her furry friends` dynamics and isn`t too fond of cats. When it comes to other dogs, she might be okay with the right temperament—patient introductions would be key!

More than anything, Marshmallow is looking for a loving home to leave the shelter life behind. She`s a special soul who deserves a chance to thrive and love in a forever home.

For many years, BHS (Beatrice Humane Society) has been sheltering abandoned animals, fighting cruelty and neglect, and working to build a caring, compassionate community here in Beatrice Nebraska.

Although we have lots of volunteers and members, we are really nothing more than a single entity saying “Yes, I want to help!”.
