My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is an 11-year-old chatty queen with a soft spot for cozy routines and calm companionship. This brown beauty knows exactly what she wants out of life: sunny nap spots, quiet consistency, and humans who appreciate a cat with confidence and clear communication skills.

She’ll greet you at the door with enthusiastic meows and tail flicks, always happy to see you and eager to supervise your day. Phoebe loves exploring her space, stretching her legs, and staying close to “her people.” She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she’ll tolerate it—and she’ll absolutely beg for brushing time, marching straight to her brush with determined meows until you get the hint.

Phoebe prefers to be the one-and-only pet in the home. Other cats? Hard pass. Young kids? Not her thing either. She does wonderfully with calm, older teens who respect her boundaries, but unfamiliar younger kids tend to stress her out. She’s a cat who thrives in a peaceful, predictable household.

While she’s had some litterbox stress in the past, she’s been perfect in both the shelter and her foster home. We’ll send her home with helpful tips to keep her feeling comfortable and confident.

Phoebe is affectionate, vocal, funny, and loyal—and she’s beyond ready to find a quiet forever home where she can be loved, respected, and brushed like the royalty she is. Bonus: she’s stinking cute with her little bobcat tail.
