Emma (born 2/21/2023) is a charming, petite, 7 pound kitten. Playful, sweet and loving with people – she does not like other cats at all. If you are looking for a single kitty – this could be the one for you! Emma loves playing with her toys, playing in the cat tree, looking out of the window and scratching on her scratch pad.

We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion. We start the process once you have submitted an application to us.
