Sweet Ryder is the smartest guy who has already conquered the “sit” and “shake” commands and would be over the moon to learn more from his forever family! His current caregivers are looking to place him in a forever environment where he can thrive and make friends to his heart's content! He's not so sure about cats, but he frequents doggy daycare and is a staff (and fellow dog) favorite! His caregivers say his DNA test came back to inlcude mostly lab and redbone coonhound.. SWOON! The perfect mix for the perfect gentleman! He also enjoys spending time with children!

At Paws Crossed, we believe that our mission is best fulfilled through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, advocacy, collaboration and education.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
