Meet Cicero – A Queen with a Mind of Her Own
Cicero is a wise and wonderful senior lady who’s seen her share of life’s ups and downs. After losing her previous home, she’s been taking her time learning who she can trust again. But over the last few months in her foster home, Cicero has truly come out of her shell—and what a delightful personality she has! She’s been doing so well in foster care and has proven to be a sweet, quirky lady with a lot of love to give—on her own terms, of course. Once you’ve earned her trust, Cicero might treat you to her favorite things: bedtime cuddles, a good brushing session, and greeting you with a very thorough sniff. Cicero enjoys the simple pleasures in life: napping in sunny spots, bird watching, chasing string toys, and catching the occasional spider. She’s not a fan of late dinners or turkey-flavored food—this queen has standards, after all. Independent and full of character, Cicero would do best in a quiet home with someone who respects her space and appreciates her sass. With patience and understanding, you’ll discover a loving companion who’s equal parts regal and silly. If you’re looking for a cat with a little spice and a lot of heart, Cicero might be your perfect match. Are you the home she’s been waiting for?
All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
