My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Second Chances: Apollo’s journey back to love!

Apollo is a captivating, ginger cat with a resilient heart and a longing for affection. Once a stray in a local colony, his life changed for the better when a kind-hearted person recognized his potential and rescued him. It’s believed that Apollo was once a beloved house cat who was sadly abandoned and left to survive on his own outdoors. After being adopted, Apollo was returned to EHS due to stress-related cystitis, likely triggered by his family’s frequent travels. Despite this challenge, Apollo remains optimistic and eager to find a forever home filled with love.

ABOUT APOLLO:

-In foster
-Apollo is a stunning cat whose calm nature complements his striking looks.
-He can be shy and will need time to adjust to new people and environments.
-Gradually gaining confidence, he is beginning to show his affectionate personality more openly.
-Very vocal and expressive, Apollo clearly communicates his emotions and needs.
-He seeks out pets and attention in the evenings, demonstrating his desire for closeness, and is especially fond of head scratches.
-Apollo is a certified Cat TV fanatic, mesmerized by every flicker on the screen.
-He enjoys lounging in cozy spots throughout the day, always seeking comfort and warmth.
-Playful and spirited, Apollo loves interactive toys and games.
-Apollo is on a special diet to reduce the risk of cystitis flare-ups.
-Apollo is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on core vaccinations

APOLLO’S IDEAL HOME:

-Due to his cystitis, Apollo requires careful monitoring of his litter box habits, so he cannot live with other cats.
-A household with young children may not be the best fit, and his compatibility with other pets or dogs is unknown.
-He is best suited for a home where someone is present most of the time.
-He will thrive in a nurturing environment where he receives plenty of love and attention.
-Adopters should be ready to invest the patience, time, and care needed to help Apollo feel secure and settled.

Give Apollo the loving home he deserves and create a lifetime of happiness and cherished memories by applying to adopt him today.
