It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
INKY and his 3 siblings (STARBIE - ELCO - SHADOW ) were rescued from Los Angeles, California on Alameda and 101 in a trucking company parking lot. Rescue mama was called that a lady was trapping all the cats to get them fixed and needed help with the kittens. So our trapper went out and brough us the kittens so they would not have to die in that truck parking lot. They brought us 2 different set of siblings. a total of 7 kittens.
Meet INKY, a delightful feline friend bursting with charm and charisma! This sweet kitty is an absolute joy to be around. INKY's sleek fur is as black as night, with mesmerizing amber eyes that sparkle with curiosity and mischief. At approximately 1 year old, INKY has mastered the art of conversation and will happily chirp and meow to communicate with you throughout the day.
One of INKY's favorite pastimes is playing with feather toys, swatting and pouncing with sheer delight as they flutter through the air. You'll find INKY's playful energy contagious, as they eagerly invite you to join in the fun. This affectionate kitty adores snuggling up close for cuddles, purring contentedly as they soak up your love and affection.
INKY's food-motivated nature adds an extra layer of excitement to mealtime. Whether it's a tasty treat or a hearty meal, INKY's eyes light up with anticipation at the mere mention of food. This little foodie will happily accept treats and rewards as tokens of your love and appreciation. With INKY by your side, every day is filled with laughter, love, and endless entertainment. INKY is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. He is about 1 year 1 months old and is good with cats. He has not been around young children or dogs.
INKY is currently at a foster home in Menifee, California.
ADOPTION PROCESS:

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home
********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********
MAY 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
